Two golden hearts stopped beating, Four shining eyes at rest, God
broke my heart to prove to me, he only takes the best. One thousands
words couldn't bring you back, I know because I've tried, Neither could
one thousand tears, I know because I've cried. It breaks my heart to see
you there, I'll get over it, Well I'll try, But what really broke my
heart the most, You didn't say goodbye..
The days will always be brighter because he existed. The nights will
always be darker because he's gone. And no matter what anybody says
about grief and about time healing all wounds, the truth is: there are
certain sorrows that never fade away until the heart stops beating and
the last breath is taken.
I wonder as i wander, out under the sky, why do people
I care about always have to die? Are you happy where you are, wherever
that might be? I wonder as i wander, do you still think of me? Is it
nice up there in heaven? For i know you made it there. Are the clouds
made out of marshmallows, do you know that i still care? I looked up at
the winter sky and shed a single tear. I think of all the days gone by,
I'll always hold you dear. I wonder as i wander, out under the sky, why
do people i care about, always have to die?
- Hilary Begleiter
"But you`re not gonna live forever. You`re gonna die.
We`re all gonna die. Me. Her. You. You`re dying right now. Right this
minute. Right this second. See there? That second passed. It`s gone. Not
gonna come again. And while I`m talking to you, every second I`m
talking, a second is passing. Gone. Count them up. Count them down.
They`re gone. Each one bringing you closer to your death."
