Hopeless Romance

My coworkers and I were talking about our age variance and our respective love lives today. The topic came up as the next oldest (as I am the youngest by a few years) has taken to a guy my age and evidently goes through A LOT with him. the eldest is thinking she's a hopeless romantic. And thus, the discussion progressed. So to mark my return to this blog, I offer some thoughts on hopeless romance 

"You're a hopeless romantic in a world with no hope or romance" 

"I'm a hopeless romantic who has discovered that romance is hopeless" 

"Not to be with the one you love, the one person you should be spending your life with - its like a kind of living death. To wake up every morning and know you are still here; To have that brief, sweet moment of blankness, before your mind reminds you who you are, why you're unhappy. It's like hell - a living hell of the heart's own making"
